Holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Aleppo (1988).
Worked as an engineer at the Directorate of Tourism and the General Authority for the Implementation of Tourism Projects in Aleppo (1989–1997).
Private sector entrepreneur in the field of traditional industries and heritage crafts — an area he remains active in to this day.
Contributed to the establishment of the Syrian Tourism Chambers in 2004 following the enactment of Law No. 65 in 2002.
Board Member of the Northern Region Tourism Chamber (2004–2008).
