Official Minutes of the 52nd Regular Meeting of the Northern Region Tourism Chamber

The President of the Chamber, Talal Khudair, started the meeting with a welcoming speech to the members of the Council and the Director of Aleppo Tourism, in which he congratulated the Minister of Tourism Mr. Mazen Al-Salhani on his assumption of the post of Syrian Minister of Tourism and expressed great joy at the decision to lift economic sanctions on our dear country, which will reflect positively on all levels and stressed the need to intensify efforts in the next phase to promote the tourism sector in Aleppo.

The Minister’s decision to extend the current council members’ term until December 31, 2025, was presented.

A directive from the Assistant Minister of Tourism regarding the re-election of the Chamber Bureau members was reviewed.

Preparations for the Chamber’s official website, set to launch in June 2025, were discussed. The platform aims to promote Aleppo’s tourism facilities and events as part of the Chamber’s strategic outreach.

They also presented the latest developments on the website in preparation for its launch in June, which is part of the Chamber’s plan to promote tourism facilities and events in Aleppo.

Treasurer Mr. Najib Qabawa presented the Chamber’s annual budget, which was reviewed, approved, and endorsed for submission to the General Assembly.
